GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE CAMPUS MUNDI SCHOLARSHIP TYPES

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE CAMPUS MUNDI SCHOLARSHIP TYPES

I. Partial studies - based on an interinstitutional (between Corvinus and the receiving university) agreement

- Solely those students can apply for this type of CM scholarship who already submitted an Erasmus+/bilateral application to any of the partner institutions of CUB during the main/additional application period and whose application has been accepted by CUB.

- For further information please visit the CM website of CUB

Application deadlines: They are always announced in the actual academic year (see CM website – linked in above). Considering the length of the whole administrative process it is highly recommended to submit the CM application even 2-3 months prior to the mobility.

Please note that CUB students have to meet the CUB CM deadlines!

II. Partial studies - based on an intergovernmental (between Hungary and the receiving country) agreement

- Any studenst can apply for this type of CM scholarship. CUB application is not a precondition.

Application deadlines:  They are always announced in the actual academic year.

Please note that deadlines of different countries may differ.

- The countries and higher education institutiones listed in this call for application have a contractual relationship with the Hungarian government, not with CUB.

This CM scholarship type is fully coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation (TPF), therefore colleagues of CUB cannot be of help in questions regarding it.

- For further information please visit the TPF website (only in Hungarian)

- Important note: It is not necessary to use the so called „teacher’s reference and institutional approval” document  but a teacher’s recommendation will be required and evaluated.

III. Partial studies – freemover (guest student status)

- The applicant is free to find a host university where he/she will complete courses in relation with his/her field of studies. The exchange semester can be realised in any European or non-European higher education institution if the applicant receives a Letter of Acceptance from the host university and the sending institution (Corvinus) supports the mobility and recognises the courses and credits completed abroad.

- In case of a freemover mobility it is the applicant’s duty and responsibility to find a receiving institution and manage the study plan and recognition.

Anyone can apply for this kind of CM scholarship (except Stipendium Hungaricum students). CUB application is not a precondition.

All universities of the world can be a host institution (except those ones which are in a country or region that is not supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Please find the list of these destinations on the Ministry’s website – in Hungarian ).

- Since this mobility is not based on an interinstitutional or an intergovernmental agreement (even if the host university is one of the partner institutions of CUB or the Hungarian Government!) the student has to pay tution fee at the host institution (if required).

- It is not possible to apply for any complementary financial support for the tution fee within the CM scholarship programme. If the host university requires the student to pay a tuition fee the student has to pay it on his/her own by economising the CM scholarship or from private capital.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In case of a freemover mobility we solely issue the institutional approval for the CM application if the following requisits are all fulfilled: 1) The study plan and the teacher’s reference is fully completed, signed and stamped. 2) The applicant already possesses a signed and stamped Letter of Acceptance issued by the host university. 3) The applicant already has a Learning Agreement signed and stamped by the three parties (student, Corvinus, host university).

Application deadline: The application is continuous but it has to be submitted one day prior to the first day of the mobility (the first day of the exchange semester / orientation week / language course) at the very latest. Considering the length of the whole administrative process it is highly recommended to submit the CM application even 2-3 months before the mobility starts.

IV. Internship

This is the student’s duty to find a host company/organisation/foundation/institution. The internship can be done in any countries in the world (except in those countries or regions which are not recommended by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs)

Only those students can apply who already possess a host company and they can prove it with a signed and stamped Letter of Acceptance.

Further information on the CM internship website of the Tempus Public Foundation (available only in Hungarian)

The general CUB internship application is a precondition of the CM internship application. Further information on the Erasmus+ internship website of CUB (even if the traineeship takes place in a non-Erasmus+ country!)

Application deadline: The application is continuous but it has to be submitted one day prior to the first day of the mobility (the first day of employment) at the very latest. Considering the length of the whole administrative process it is highly recommended to submit the CM application even 2-3 months before the mobility starts.

V. Short term study programme

This scholarship type is completely coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation. Should any questions arise please turn to TPF, colleagues of CUB cannot provide any help.

Further information and call for application can be found on the website of TPF (available only in Hungarian).
